I am Tana

I started practicing yoga in 2004 -
and there was no going back.

Today I'm a Jivamukti Yoga teacher, currently
completing my 800-hour certification,
with earlier training in Ashtanga Vinyasa and Tantra Yoga.

I also work full-time in a demanding international marketing career — which is exactly why I teach
the way I do: for people who are taught to live mostly in their heads, who tend to think too much to switch
off easily, and who don't necessarily trust "wellness" at first sight. You have to feel it first.
And to feel it, you need to let go into it.

That's where stories come in.

A column that "starts from the earth and
goes up to the sky, without end" becomes a way to move.

A garden becomes a lesson in staying still.

The artists and works that inspire me are an invitation
and hopefully an inspiration to you too -
to look deeper, to seek further within, to curiously explore what this gift called life can be.

Or, in one word: oneness.

The essence of yoga.

I teach in the garden of the Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin each summer (when the weather allows), in studio, and one-on-one. Wherever it happens, the destination is the same.

Let's share this journey 💖
